Bruised Pride and Rump...

I cycled in to work this morning, even though I was aching a lot after yesterday’s canoeing adventure.  The chemistry didn’t feel great this morning – sometimes it feels great; other times it’s an effort.  Only the other day, I was pleased to be using pedal cleats again after my long lay-off.  Today, they were my undoing…

I was riding through Victoria Country Park, winding my way up a steep path.  Somehow, I veered off the path, and failed to eject from the pedal cleats.  Bruised rump and pride, but no major damage.  I’ve certainly had worse in the past!!!!  I think TFW needs a check-over now.  I bashed the mech and the gears aren’t changing cleanly now.  Apart from that’ all’s well.
