The object here is to inspire others to provide old 3rd CB photographs, together with associated details (e.g. date, location, activity, names of people etc.). The final archive is likely to be hosted on a different platform, in collaboration with the 3rd CB Communications Manager. The next task is a major 'trawl' for photograph contributions please!! ...
Last weekend, a group of us (16 in total) rode approximately 160 miles from Southampton to Hereford. The purpose of the ride was to raise money to support the wonderful work of the Hereford-based Royal National College for the Blind (RNC). We had been planning and training since February. We had been anxiously watching the weather forecast. There had been the possibility of the tail end of Hurricane Lorenzo fouling up our plans, but thankfully it went through the day before we set off. (photographs are below the text...)
