Knees and Minds!
For the past seven weeks, I've been struggling with a knee problem. It could have been triggered by running on the treadmill in the gym, wading in deep mud at the sailing club whilst shovelling silt from the slipway, or from cycling and twisting my foot out of the pedal cleat. Whatever the cause, I'm rather hampered now, and can't get out on my bike - hugely to my frustration. Physio, X-Rays and doctors' appointments haven't yet resolved the problem, but I'm hopeful that it won't be too long before I'm back cycling.
I have come to realise that routine exercise, and particularly reflective time whilst cycling to work in the mornings, is really important to my general well-being, and I'm missing it incredibly. Furthermore, my trousers seem to be shrinking in size at an alarming rate! Must keep in a positive frame of mind....
